Hi all! I’ve decided to do the ABC-Book_-Challenge too! I have been thinking for a while to find something to write next to my weekly reviews and I thought this might be fun πŸ™‚

I got the idea from Sofii @ A Book A Thought, so thank you! Like her, I don’t know the original creators so if you do, please let me know!

This week, the new semester has started at school, and it’s gonna be busy again. After last semester, I really want to try to make more time for myself, and that’s beside spending time with my family. I noticed last semester that I usually am busy with school, or I am spending time with family, but I couldn’t remember the last time I did something for just me.. so when I broke down a few times in a week again, I talked to my boyfriend and eventually I admitted that maybe my body needs alone-time as well sometimes. So, last weekend I just couldn’t think of anything to do, and ended up spending an hour or two on the couch reading, it was lovely. My boyfriend joined after a while, and I noticed how much I missed nights like those ❀

Monday, I only had one class, and in the weekend, I didn’t feel like playing a game, so I suggested we played a game Monday evening. The box still says “20 minutes per game” and we still manage to take up the entire evening for one Keyforge match ^^; It was really nice to play again though!

Anyhow, off to the post!

Memorable titles that start with the letter T

  • Three Dark Crowns: The book that started my crazy obsession with this series! I sped through this book in no-time and loved it so much. The characters, the story, the secrets.. everything. I recently finished the last book of the series so I’m planning on reviewing them all soon!
  • Throne of Glass: another start of a series that I loved with my whole heart. Sure this series has had it’s problems, and I didn’t like it that much at some points but I love the whole story of Celaena. Review here
  • Twilight: I couldn’t let out my absolute childhood favorite, could I? The Twilight books were actually one of the first book I’ve ever bought and I went to see the new movies in the theater xD

Hi all! I’ve decided to do the ABC-Book_-Challenge too! I have been thinking for a while to find something to write next to my weekly reviews and I thought this might be fun πŸ™‚

This week, a new semester starts and it seems my schedule is actually quite okay for once. I have classes early (which I really don’t mind, I’m at school at 8am every day anyway), almost no days with 3 hours between classes, and no days where I have classes till very late in the afternoon as well.Β

Talking about school, you know what also starts with that letter….

Memorable titles that start with the letter S

  • The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants: I’m sure you all know this book, because let’s be honest, there are childhood books that you just don’t forget. This is one of them.
  • Solitaire: As mentioned before, this and Radio Silence is what made me fall in love with Alice Oseman’s writing so much. I love the diversity of all the characters and how very accurate it felt reading. Oseman is quite amazing at describing things in such a way that it feels like she’s writing about me. Review here
  • De Stomme van Kampen: a Dutch book that the Dutch people probably recognize.. It was one of my favorite books and I might have read it over 5 times or so. It’s about a deaf guy who becomes a very famous painter and I just loved it so much. I might reread it someday.Β
  • The Sun Is Also A Star: this book was just so nice and simple a love story, and sometimes I really love that. I loved the characters and how they treated their problems and I just really loved the kind-of-cliche that this book was. Review here

The ABC-Book-Challenge: R

This week has been another busy week, and while the project is working kinda okay, the people I’m working with are actually not too terrible (which is great since last year was no fun at all honestly), but my other homework needs to be done as well, so I’m figuring out how to do both and still have me-time left.

However, my ABC-challenge is actually almost done, and although I’ve had fun, I won’t do it again, I think. During this challenge, I felt like I constantly needed to change the titles I posted, because I read new (sometimes better) books, and my TBR had to be adjusted, and honestly, nothing is more annoying than pulling up Goodreads every time, putting the books in alphabetical order, and scrolling till I found the letter I was working on ^^;

Anyhow, on with the actual post!

Memorable titles that start with the letter R

  • Radio Silence: a book that I wanted to read because I’d heard good things about it, and the story did get me curious. My boyfriend actually got me Solitaire and Radio Silence, and soon after I Was Born For This, and I devoured them in three nights. I love everything about those books.
  • Renegades: I’ll admit I’m a sucker for anything that Marissa Meyer writes ^^; I really loved Renegades (and Archenemies) and am now anxiously waiting for Supernova to be published! I wrote an excitement post about it here πŸ™‚

I put P and Q together for this post since I don’t have a lot of titles starting with either of those letters ^^;Β

Memorable titles that start with the letter P or Q

  • The Princess Diaries: it’s not really a YA series, more of a teen’s series, but I devoured those books years ago. I’ve seen the movie too, and it was brilliant.Β
  • Queens of Fennbirn: This is a novella of the Three Dark Crowns series, best read after book 2 (One Dark Throne). It explains so much about some of the small details in the books before and after, and it’s honestly the only novella I’ve bought (I’ll admit I’m someone who’s always a bit iffy to pay the amount of money for a whole book for a book with 30 pages._.)Β

Memorable titles that start with the letter O

  • The Ocean At The End Of The Lane: I read this one as an audiobook by Gaiman himself and it was really great. He knows very well how to make something seem like just a childish story but it’s so much more than that. Review hereΒ
